MY WORK

  • I am completing my PhD in literature and culture at the University of Washington. My scholarship is primarily focused on contemporary North American poetry, but also touches on genre, affect, historiography and art. My dissertation considers a genre of contemporary poetry that repurposes language from historical documents.

  • I am completing my MFA in creative writing at the University of Washington. My poems are published in Permafrost, Cherry Tree, The Ekphrastic Review and elsewhere.

  • I am a fiber artist, currently making a series of textile art objects with the text of my own poems. Other art projects have included book and print arts.
